    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2688">mpaneth</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2390<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 Apr 2016 at 11:07am<br /><br /><div>I have a Z87 Pro4 with 2 x Team DDRIII 2133 4GB RAM which has been working flawlessly for the past 2 years.</div><div><br></div><div>This week windows crashed and since then I have not been able to run reliably.</div><div><br></div><div>Experimenting I found that using only 1 RAM stick, I have stable operation, but the RAM must be placed in either of the B banks. &nbsp;Putting a stick only in the A bank will not allow the PC to boot.</div><div><br></div><div>The RAM sticks are OK as I have tried both RAM and they all work when singly installed.</div><div><br></div><div>When I have one stick in the B bank and put another stick into the A bank, the PC will boot and operate for about 5 minutes and then freeze and will not restart until I pull out the stick in the A bank.</div><div><br></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4;">By coincidence, or maybe not, last week Microsoft upgraded me from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and all seemed well.</span></div><div><br></div><div>I am currently operating on a single stick, but am worried that the motherboard will now fail completely.</div><div><br></div><div>Does anyone know of a solution?</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by mpaneth - 13 Apr 2016 at 11:52am</span>]]>
