An 8600 CPU provides PCIE Gen3, a PCIE Gen 4 card can work, but not at its full potential of course.
Graphics card are getting more affordable because crypto mining market collapsed.
Cards that have been used for Crypto maining usually have flashed special firmware making them operate a higher speeds, getting the GPU to burn out.
Sometimes these cards are sold cheap, don't fall into that, and when you want to take the risk, always first ask for a copy of the proof of purchase, I have met several cases, where people spent ??000, only to find the card is dead, and without proof of purchase, no warranty.
Also check if the small seal stickers on the screws that attach the card to the heatsink are intact, if they are tampered with, no warranty.
