    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=24360">threadzipper1957</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 24660<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Jul 2022 at 10:56pm<br /><br />An 8600 CPU provides PCIE Gen3, a PCIE Gen 4 card can work, but not at its full potential of course.<br />Graphics card are getting more affordable because crypto mining market collapsed.<br />Cards that have been used for Crypto maining usually have flashed special firmware making them operate a higher speeds, getting the GPU to burn out.<br />Sometimes these cards are sold cheap, don't fall into that, and when you want to take the risk, always first ask for a copy of the proof of purchase, I have met several cases, where people spent ??000, only to find the card is dead, and without proof of purchase, no warranty.<br />Also check if the small seal stickers on the screws that attach the card to the heatsink are intact, if they are tampered with, no warranty.<br />I think starting from a GTX 1050, and AMD RX5700, you should have good cards]]>
