Every manufacturer uses its own controller chip in combination with the software the controller manufacturer provides.
Sometiems when more RGB tools are active, it can cause problems.
Also in the directory, where the tool is installed, you will fir a writefw.bat file, this should update the controllers firmware, if not th ebest option is to use the tech support form

You can also try a tool caleld Signal RGB, it is freeware, and is capable of running multiple different RGB controllers.
