The version is Beta 1.70, date 2018/5/30. I performed this update on both PCs (no success). The processor on both machines is Intel Pentium G3220.<br /><br />Thank you.]]>

I also bought a new fan with no success. Yes, I have reset the CMOS and I changed the battery.  As I mention on my first post, I  updated the BIOS first to version 1.5 and then to beta version 1.7.<br /><br />I also thought the board could be faulty, but I have 2 PCs with the same identical board and both of them have the same full-speed-fan problem. It's frustrating.  ]]>

So as long as you have a 4 pin connector on your cooler, you should be good to go. Have you tried resetting cmos or updating the bios? If those things don't work, I'd start looking for a replacement board, it seems like some controller is broken on it in that case. ]]>

Then I followed your suggestion and connected it to the CHA_FAN1 (number 15), and I set the Chassis fan in BIOS to "silent" but nothing changes. The Fan is still spinning at more then 3300RPM.
