Have you tried to run 5600 x with version 7.20? What was the result?

7.10 is the earliest BIOS that supports them so you will be fine with anything

Hi there,

I have a A320M-HDV R4.0 with processor Ryzen 3400G.

The bios version is 7.20.


I am thinking of, at some point in the future, getting a Ryzen 5600. I know it pushes the board a little bit far but I would try it, and if it doesn't work then upgrade motherboard.

The problem is, in the CPU support list (https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/a320m-hdv%20r4.0/index.asp#CPU) the Ryzen 5600 as well as 5600X both list the validated bios version as 7.10.

Will this be a problem, or will 7.20 also run the Ryzen 5600X, since according to the BIOS list you are unable to downgrade from 7.20.
