    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=74">parsec</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2490<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Apr 2016 at 12:38pm<br /><br />Definitely not a USB header, it's an alternate type of internal Thunderbolt AIC connector.<br><br>If you are not using the internal USB 3.0 connector on your board, you can get a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 adapter, and use that as a power source.<br><br>Otherwise, USB power is 5V, one of the three standard rails of any PC PSU. Tapping into the red wire on a four pin molex connector/cable from the PSU and adapting it to the input of your card reader would work.<br>]]>
