Bios is P3.60

I have some confusion about bios support. Looking at the support list the 1600 is listed as validated for all current bios. In order to support Ryzen 5000 I need to update to at least 4.50
Can I actually trust being able to make that generational jump without needing another, newer(than 1st gen) processor?
