After a bios update still not boot with the&nbsp;Core i3-6300T .</div><div><br></div><div>Long story Short: i bought another H170M-dl, and it is working fine.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The computer store bought back the previous motherboard (something wrong with it?). I would also imagine that if there was such a feature it would prevent the board from powering up at all rather than have fans spinning. I doubt that could be the issue. It is far more likely to be the BIOS version causing your problems.]]>

That chip is next to the SATA ports, on the right side, and the chipset heatsink, on the left.<br><br>I wonder what power supply you are using, and if you have the four pin +12V CPU power cable connected to the board's ATX12V1 connector.<br><br>You must have a cable from the PSU connected to this connector, in addition to the 24 pin ATX cable from the power supply.<br><br>You can see that connector in the large picture, looking down on the board:<br><br><a href="http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170M-ITXDL/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170M-ITXDL/</a><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=140">Xaltar</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2517<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25 Apr 2016 at 5:47am<br /><br />The i3 6300T is only supported from BIOS version 1.20 and up so if your board has an earlier version then that is likely the problem.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I did not find the RAM you listed on the QVL but I did find "<span style="color: rgb68, 68, 68; font-family: arial, tahoma, sans-serif, 'Microsoft JhengHei', 'Microsoft YaHei'; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: center; : rgb238, 238, 255;">HX421C14FBK2/16"</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;and figured you may have made a typo with the extra 2 FB<b><i><font color="#ff0000">2</font></i></b>K2. Either way I don't think it is likely the RAM could be the cause unless it is improperly seated.</span></div>]]>
