Hi everyone,

I am new to this board. Have a very odd issue going on. Bought my son his very first gaming machine. And today I reseated the Intel CPU with a better thermal paste to help with cooling. Anyway, after seating the CPU and plugging everything back in, after I turned of the computer it came on, no bios, then after 30 seconds or so it would restart on it's own. It did this 3 times before I finally hard booted the pc off. Now when I hit power there is no longer a pause before turning on. Now it turns on right away and the PSC (post status checker) stays lit in the top left corner. It doesn't boot to bios at all. I have tried to clear the CMOS with the battery being left out for 5 mins. And reseated the VGA, Memory, and even the CPU again. I am not sure what could have happened.
