Author: JT83
Subject: 25199
Posted: 14 Dec 2022 at 4:45pm

Hi,

I want to know if I can update my Fatal1ty P67 Professional board BIOS with the beta BIOS L3.21A. I can't find any information about microcode and anything about the beta BIOS. I want to use 16 GB of RAM (or more, if possible) and all people I asked told me to update the BIOS to L3.21A first. ASRock and anybody can tell me if it's fine to update the BIOS with L3.21A?

I have Intel i7 2600 installed on the board, no overclock. CPU related BIOS settings are factory/default. BIOS chip is original or factory (2.00), sorry for the lack of better word.

I'm really looking forward to getting an answer soon because I need to do this quick before I report back to Kingston about the RAM, which works on my friend's P67 board. Thanks in advance.
