You can experiment some more as needed, like heating up just the motherboard, while keeping the PSU cold (or maybe even extra cold with ice or something).<br />Hopefully, you can narrow things down a bit this way.<br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=26492">Leonard</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25239<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25 Dec 2022 at 3:53am<br /><br />Before i go and spend money on what i think could be the problem i thought i should ask here too.<br />System:<br />MB : Asrock x370 taichi bios version 5.10<br />CPU : 2700x PBO enabled with a tiny offset<br />Memory : 4 stick Patriot 3200mhz set at 3066 100% stable<br />Video card : Sapphire Pulse RX 6700 10gb<br />Storage : 2x2.5 inch ssds and 2xHDD and both NVME slots occupied<br />PSU : Chieftec Smart 700W<br /><br />This PC was 100% stable since 2018 except the last 2 years.<br />In the summer the computer has no problems booting to windows, in the winter sometimes it freezes and can't enter windows.<br />Problem got worse now, first boot into windows after the computer had completely cooled off freezes the PC that even the power button doesn't work ( pressing several seconds and all that... ), i have to switch off from power supply.<br />After it gets warm system is stable.<br />I did all the STOCK settings, CPU with no PBO, ram at 2133 and all that stuff, still goes crazy when computer cold.<br />Naturally i would think it's the PSU dying, but, can it be the motherboard ? <br /><br />]]>
