hello, I am fairly new to the pc building world so excuse me if I call something by the wrong name.

I recently built a PC using the Z690, and as anyone would be, I was excited to turn it on for the first time. But when it came time to do so it wouldn't. I then thought I got a faulty power supply so luckily my brother was able to lend me one of his spares to rule that out. when I plugged in the new supply, nothing changed. all that happens is my fans will kick on for a second then turn off again. the only parts that are not in the computer at this time are SSDs and a GPU.
