    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=26165">eccential</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25301<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 Jan 2023 at 3:21am<br /><br />I see their "CPU Support List" page is outdated, but their BIOS page includes R5-5600 (Vermeer) support, so I'd say it's a GO.<br /><br />Depending on your current BIOS version, it could be messy, though.<br />OLD-&gt;3.50-&gt;5.20-&gt;7.00-&gt;7.30 and then swap CPU to 5600.<br /><br />Where you start depends on what your current BIOS is.  Don't go backwards.<br /><br />Good thing you're not trying to go to G-series APU (5600G), as it might not be possible to add support for it using 1000/2000 series CPU.  You'd have to borrow a Matisse/Vermeer to make that happen, although the BIOS page for that particular motherboard doesn't say anything about that.  So inconsistent....<br /><br />]]>
