I have updated my Asrock Z790 Taichi to 5.x
Not so satisfied as now my cpu goes to 100C in high end custom loop with 2 360 radiators.
Previous i had 4.1x and in same settings inhad max 90C.

Anyone know what the January BIOS update for the z790 boards fixes? For some boards, this is BIOS 5.x, but for one board I saw it numbered as 6.x. (Why Asrock would have inconsistent numbering like that within a single chipset line is baffling.)

This BIOS update is labeled as fixing "13.3 sidepanel kit" (which I don't have) but also, "Intel Microcode Update". Do I need that microcode update?
