    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=26917">andymoog</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25578<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Mar 2023 at 4:41am<br /><br />x570 SL ax running BIOS P3.60<br />AMD Ryzen 7 3700X<br />Windows 11 Pro<br /><br />I am trying to update BIOS to at least 3.90 to prepare for a CPU upgrade (5800x3D, 3.90 BIOS minimum) but when trying to instant flash BIOS via root, I get an invalid file error.<br /><br />The files are recognized in the UEFI and able to be selected but when trying to install them they produce the invalid file error. <br /><br />I have tried 3.7,3.8,3.9,4.1, and L5.01 but all produce the same invalid file error. <br /><br />I have confirmed that I downloaded the correct BIOS for my board. I have tried renaming the files also but still receive the same error. <br /><br />Any ideas or suggestions?]]>
