Author: dt2019
Subject: 25595
Posted: 10 Mar 2023 at 9:32am

I purchased an ASRock Z690 Pro RS LGA 1700 motherboard brand new from NE. I would like to use the board with an i5-12500 which has the UHD 770 iGPU. I got the i5-12500 NOT the i5-12500F which doesn't have the igpu.

The motherboard lights up the vga and boot led at boot time and goes no further. I put an old graphics card I had laying around and connected it to my monitor over it's DVI port and I'm able to boot and install an OS but the iGPU remains non-existent to every tool I have tried to see it.

Tried cmos reset every which way.

I'm at a loss. The CPU is on the supported list. Support hasn't responded so my only option is to send the thing back. Any brilliant ideas or should I just bail?
