Seems to have similar single thread performance at much lower price, and also it's listed as 65W TDP, like my current ryzen 5 1600. I guess I can still look for middle of the road aftermarket tower fan (like Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 120x25mm)<br /><br />As for the RAM, I wasn't sure because the spec doc wording was confusing to me.<br /><br />Cheers]]>

If it's the original, it would even have the copper vapor chamber.  It's a decent cooler, but I wouldn't use it with Ryzen 7 5800X.  Wraith Spire would be fine on a 65W TDP (88W max) CPUs, like Ryzen 7 5700X, but 5800X is an 105W TDP CPU.  You might be okay if you force it to 65W TDP in the BIOS, but then, why bother with 5800X?<br /><br />2x16GB should work fine.  I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.<br />]]>

Left my 1500X in and it was fine. Then a week later dropped in 5600g.<br /><br />So far (3 weeks in) no issues.<br /><br />Going to update Ram from 2x4gb to 2x8gb...and trying to get my head around just what type of Ram this Motherboard/CPU combo will support. Various reports of 2666 to 3200. But Cezanne processor is pretty new territory for this board.]]>
