M.2, or USB cardreader conencted, and you do a Clr CMOS, the board should always run into BIOS, and sometimes, it can also be an isuue with the cable, how weird it may sound]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=27006">dedorr</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25656<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Mar 2023 at 5:37pm<br /><br />Hello everybody,<br /><br />I am new here and I have a problem: I upgraded my GPU from a GTX970 to RX6700XT<br /><br />The new graphic card seems not being recognised from motherboard.<br /><br />Configuration:<br />Motherboard: Z490 Steel Legend P1.90 (latest bios)<br />Processor: Intel Core i5-10600k 4.10GHz<br />RAM: 16 GB<br />GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 970 to 6700XT STRIX Gaming<br /><br /><br />Steps I have undertaken:<br />- Cleared CMOS<br />- Put Graphics Card into PCI Slot 1. -&gt; Unsuccesful<br />- Put Graphics Card back into Slot 3. -&gt; still not recognised.<br />- Set the PCIE1 link speed to "AUTO"<br />- Set the PCIE1 link speed to "GEN3"<br />- Set ALL PCIEX link speed to "GEN3"<br />- Set Above 4G DECODING to "Enabled"<br />- Set the PRIMARY GRAPHICS ADAPTER to "onboard"<br />- Set the DMI Link Speed to "AUTO"<br />- Set the DMI Link Speed to "GEN3"<br />- Set the iGPU Multimonitor to "Enabled"<br />- Set CSM to "Disabled"<br />- Set CSM to "Enabled" - PCI Devices "Legacy" and "UEFI"<br />- Update BIOS motherboard from 1.20 to 1.90 (latest)<br />- Used single psu cable 8+8pin - used 2 cables (cable 4pin + cable 4pin)<br />- Tried both outputs on my graphics Card  (displayport and HDMI)<br /><br />- Tried same rx6700xt on another workstation and works perfectly<br /><br /><br />I am going crazy..What else can I try? Am i missing something in BIOS configuration?<br /><br />Thanks for reading and trying to help.]]>
