Author: Enspist
Subject: 25886
Posted: 11 May 2023 at 5:24am

Hey all,

I got a PG Velocita, and so far, things have been great. There is one small problem. The LED lights on the right side of the motherboard stay on even when the PC is asleep or even when it is shut down. The only way to turn them off is by turning the PSU off, which I would prefer not to do every night when I go to sleep.

I have looked around, and everyone says to go to the Bios, select advanced -> chipset configuration/device configuration -> LEDs when in S5 mode, and set it to disabled. The issue is that mine is already set to disabled. Currently, even with the PC on, some of the LEDs are stuck a light blue while the rest are moving with the pattern I have set. It used only to be one that had the issue. Now it is 4, which is even worse at night.

Any help would be appreciated because I don't exactly want to start covering all of the LEDs on that side with electrical tape because part of the reason I got this board is for the LEDs.
