Technically<br />XMP is "overclocking" which intel only allow on their z series chipsets. Motherboard<br />manufacturers often enable XMP anyway but intel will sometimes get angry and force<br />them to remove it again. <br /><br />That said, if your RAM is 2666 you are not missing out on any noticeable performance<br />if you are running at 2400. In games you will not see more than a single FPS <br />difference in most titles. <br /><br />The difference between 2666 and 2400 is actually very small in practical use.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Xaltar - 10 Jun 2023 at 11:21pm</span>]]>
