I never OCed it, actually ran it in eco (65w) mode as it just ran better, the DIMMs were never pushed above 1.4v when four slots were populated. With brand new corsair b-die it will barely hit 2133mhz at any voltage, even one slot.

I suppose years of heat-cycling can affect it. But I'm no expert.

The CPU's memory controller or its voltage-domain-crossing logic could be on its last legs if it was driven hard over the years. Nothing lasts forever, you know.

Maybe you can try re-seating the CPU. I've flooded the AM4 socket with CRC QD Electronic Cleaner on a returned board to fix it up once, but I'm not saying you should try that or anything like that.
In the last year it started freezing. When I did Memtest it showed massive RAM errors. I replaced the Corsair 2x16gb 3200mhz sticks with several variants now and have found the board won't run any RAM over 2133 without producing massive errors. Even a single DIMM. With 4 DIMMS forget it not even 2133 stock. I've tried adjusting voltages but no luck. Is the board done? Any suggestions?
