As a follow up to my question. I ended up sending the board back for replacement. I received the replacement a few days ago and everything is fine now. Hello all - looking for some advice for a new build that fails POST with Red CPU and RAM Leds on

I just received my new build
Steel Legend Z690
CPU Intel I7-13700
RAM Patriot DDR4 3600 2 x 32GB sticks
New PSU

My problem is the new system will not pass POST. The red CPU and RAM Led's stay on

Here is what I have already done
Flashed bios to latest version (V 13.02) - It seems to have worked per the instructions
Tried with just one RAM stick in slot A2 (Also tried B2) I am unsure if it is ok to use just a single stick
Reseated the CPU (3 times) It feels snug and lies even in the socket
I have not yet connected any boot drives - just want test the basics first

Since the motherboard LEDs light up and CPU fan start I have ruled out the PSU
Does anyone know if it is valid to use a single RAM stick on this board?
Any other suggestions to try here?
