The only hint I found online is that you must NOT have CSM (Compatibility Support Module) enabled. UEFI only for complicated configurations like multiple GPUs.

There could be other settings that could affect things.

Ryzen 7 5800X

I finally figured out that if I pull my GPU then I would get a display on the other video card. Before the BIOS update the system didn't really have any problem with 2 video cards. So for now I have been able to configure the BIOS and then once I plugged the second GPU back in there was no ability to display the BIOS screen again. But at least the system boots the OS normally. It will be pretty frustrating to have to pull the main GPU any time I need to make a BIOS change in the future.

Hi

I have a B550 Taichi that is probably not even 2 years old yet. This system has grow quite a bit more complicated than I envisioned. I've been running TrueNAS Scale and it is a NAS but I also run a couple of VMs. I recently added a GPU for passthrough to a VM, however was unable to get things working quite right to IOMMU gouping that kept the 10G Intel 82599 NIC in the same group as the GPU.

Today I decided to update the BIOS on the board with the latest B550TC2.62 update. Everything looked normal and it said the update had finished and to hit enter to reboot. Ever since then I have not been able to get a display from either video card. So I can't get into the bios to make any changes at all, let alone to see if there are some updated control that I would have over the IOMMU groups.

I have considerable time, money and data in this machine and am feeling a bit worried now. I have seen the machine start TrueNAS a couple of times on restarting, but also there have been times where the OS didn't seem to start.

Any suggestions on how I can get the video to come out of one of my GPU cards so I can make further BIOS configs? I've already tried clicking the reset button on the mobo itself. And finally tried the reset CMOS button on the rear powerpanel, but still get no video out.

I hope someone is able to help out with ideas. I'm really gonna be bumming if I have to rebuild this thing from scratch from another mobo and reconfiguring the OS......ugh
