If you don't have one connected
already you can also connect a PC speaker, most BIOS warning beeps play through
that so if none is connected, you hear nothing.

Dying/dead AIOs are annoying, I have had it happen to me too, it can be a real pain
to figure out what is causing the issue, particularly if it's intermittent. I just
got into the habit of keeping an eye on temps whenever I have crashing issues.

So I suffered two years of various symtoms. I only found and fix the problem recently when I tried to debug a performance problem running video games.

Is there a way to make BIOs issue a warning beep when the CPU overheats?

Can I adjust the throttle temperature in BIOs? I want it to throttle at lower temperature.

Although it's an old mobo I look at this as a learning experience.

ASRock Z97 Killer, i7 4790K, 32G RAM, nvidia GTX 1080
