    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3012">abufrejoval</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2700<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 May 2016 at 2:59am<br /><br />Just bootstrappig my first 2011 board with a 12 core Xeon EP, put 4x16GB DDR4-2133 ECC modules from Crucial in, for a total of 64GB RAM and noticed that there isn't an ECC configuration setting to be found anywhere in the BIOS.<br><br>HWinfo and similar report non-ECC operation, while the DIMMs are clearly registered ECC DIMMs.<br><br>So what's going on? Where should that ECC config be find in the BIOS?<br><br>Handbook doesn't seem mention any ECC settings either.<br><br>I bought this board specifically, because of the ECC support. If ASrock understands ECC support as " won't fail if it's installed", I guess I'll have to return it, because I actually want it to correct ECC errors and report on any such occurrance.<br>]]>
