It is a good selling point if it were the case and I highly doubt marketing would not advertise the support. The fact that not a single X99 board from any of the manufacturers I looked at listed support it means that the chipset and socket are not compatible for whatever reason.]]>

The E7 v2 was supported on some X79 boards but it seems the trend ended after that.]]>
