It is very likely that your RAM is not compatible with the board. Error 55 indicates the memory was not detected. 

Install your RAM in slots A1 and B1 or A2 and B2 then clear CMOS and try to post again. Make sure they are properly seated in the slots, sometimes it may feel like they are in place but they have not seated all the way.

I have a new Z170 formula oc that dont post and let 2 leds remain lit after power off.
I hawe Intel I7 6700K and 2pc Crucial DDR4 8GB installed. The post always stop at code 55 in all memoryplacdes WHY????
