Been down this road many times with updating this MB's FW. Seems when new FW is released, ASRock drops support for memory on the QVL as other threads note as well. This box runs solid on 1.3AS05, and I won't try another FW update knowing the very buggy history with ASRock updates.]]>

You can run the memtest for a longer time and I'll bet there will be an error.]]>

I've had similar problems on prior official FW versions as well. As far as my 3081TI goes, it runs fine.]]>

Ran into another ASRock nightmare setting supported RAM from 4800 to 5200. PC kept rebooting noting a bios error one time, a memory error the next, a missing Windows file the next, etc. Tried rolling back to 1.30 AS05 but after confirming the new bios, the PC would boot back into Windows saying a Windows file was missing but it shouldn't have booted into Windows anyway. Finally on the tenth try I was able to roll back. Why do I only run into these problems with ASRock products?]]>
