Although most newer motherboards can indeed display many errors, Error Codes can still be diagnosed with "beeps" from the little speaker - especially ones where the motherboard is malfunctioning due to hardware problems.
Attach a speaker to the motherboard and listen for codes - (short/long beeps in varying combinations)
If you do hear some, it may not be your motherboard but another component.
If you don't hear one, it very well may be your motherboard.

I do not have an motherboard speaker. Since the motherboard can display the error there are no need of any speaker, or am I too big of a novice to understand how it works?

Hi.

English is NOT my native language so please bare with me.

lets go


Bought a new graphics card for around a week ago and everything has worked perfectly.
But the other day my computer hung up when I was playing so so i had turn off the computer, and now I get no picture.
Has obviously pulled down the latest drivers.

But at the same time I noticed that when I start the computer again a chassi fan no longer worked, and the motherboard does not "light up"
Fan problem was fixed by moving the fan cable to another connector (?)

What I have tried are:
Changing the video card to the old.
Moved graphics card to another slot.
Tested with an HDMI cable.
Tested with another screen.
Tested with other cables.
Just run with a frame stand.
Just run what needs to be run to get a picture, and still to picture.
Reset (CMOS battery)
Reset CMOS (changed place on the "thing" dont know what to call it Tongue
Tried to start the computer outside the chassi to see if I had any ground problems//Distance to motherboard problem.(Did not work obv)

All fans starting and working.
Both fans are starting on the graphic card.
HDD starts.
It clicks as they usually do when computer starts..

Operating System: Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K
CPU Cooler: Intel Standard
Motherboard: Asrock p67 Extreme4 1155
Memory: 3x2= 6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia 750ti MSI gaming
Hard Drive: Do not remember right now. fill in if it should happen to play any role.
Power supply: XFX 750w

It feels like the motherboard is dead, but still not?
The computer starts and boot up just like normal but no screen? hm.. Please help me :)
