    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3169">feilong</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2829<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 Jun 2016 at 11:02pm<br /><br /><br>I sent my board in for RMA and then for the parts I bought an Asus board for my 5960x<br><br>Now I want to buy another CPU so I rather get the new intel ones.&nbsp; <br><br>I currently do not have a CPU so I cant find which bios version I have on my board.&nbsp; The CPU I had before is at my system at work and I really dont want to take out that CPU because the system is perfectly tuned for my workstation at work. <br><br>I want to buy a i7 6900k.&nbsp; If the board doesnt have the new bios can the system still post in the bios so I can update the bios so it can be compatible with the new bios?<br><br>This new system will be at home so I dont want to bring CPU back and forth between my home and office.&nbsp; <br>]]>
