There is no way to know what you would get. Even if someone were to know what is
being shipped out from ASRock right now there is little to no chance that is what
you would get from a retail outlet. Boards tend to sit in retail warehouses before
being sent out to store fronts and customers. This is why I like buying from a physical
store. You can check the BIOS version in store, this is why board manufacturers don't
seal the boxes. Generally most stores that sell components will be happy to check
this for you or at least let you do it.
