New H110i was installed and the new PSU ceased to work after install. &nbsp;Been a few hours now old PSU and no problems. &nbsp;BUT it's the same PSU that "failed" in the first place.</div><div><br></div><div>2. CPU was definitely overheating before I got a new H110. However that does not explain why it &nbsp;happened the new PSU and H110i</div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4;">3. &nbsp;Fractal Define Nano S. &nbsp;Front mounted Radiator. Fan pulling air through rad.</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4;">4. Heat is not the problem. &nbsp;There's something going on if my original PSU that did not work after an hr of&nbsp;</span>tinkering is suddenly working. &nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;</span></div>]]>

You would need to monitor the CPU temperature while gaming, which is no big deal to do.<br><br>I'm confused too about what is now working and not. Meaning what CPU cooler you are using, and if the PC is randomly shutting down. Another possibility is the voltage regulators (VRM) for the CPU are over heating. Using CPU coolers like yours causes less air circulation around the VRM heatsinks, that are next to the CPU.<br><br>We have no idea what PC case you have, and what the case fan configuration is. <br><br>Also the configuration of the H110i's radiator and fans is important to know. It used to be easy to monitor the pump speed when Corsair used a standard three pin fan connector to power the pump. Now they use a SATA power connector, and (I think...) you must use the Corsair Link software to check the pump speed. But the Link software is known to be rather buggy, and some people won't use it. Which type of pump power connector do you have?<br><br>Do you have the fans pulling air into the case through the radiator? <br><br>Or are the radiator fans exhausting air out of the case, but using the air inside the PC case to cool the radiator? <br><br>What extra case fans do you have?<br>]]>
