    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3444">ssahnan</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3082<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Jul 2016 at 4:50am<br /><br />have this board obviously, bought a asus mb169c usc-c 3.0 monitor to use as a secondary monitor for times when I want one for various tasks.&nbsp; As I read into it, it appears the type c port on the board needs to be a 'displayport over usb c' compliant port for this monitor to work.&nbsp; Was curious if these boards are compliant with that protocol which would then lead me to believe something else is the issue.&nbsp; just trying to troubleshoot it as for now, windows says usb device not recognized whenever I plug it in.&nbsp; when I go to device manager, it comes up as a 'billboard device'.&nbsp; the onboard graphics of the board are turned on via bios.&nbsp; the rest of the system is windows 10(all software current), 6700k, 32gb ram, m.2 drive, gtx 1080 sli.&nbsp; <div>&nbsp;</div><div>any help is appreciated...</div>]]>
