    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3459">helifaxnz</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3094<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Jul 2016 at 3:37pm<br /><br />I upgraded to a Sapphire Radeon R9 380x graphics card from a EVGA GTX750. &nbsp;The motherboard wouldn't boot up. &nbsp;The LED came up with a 97 error.<div><br></div><div>I have read there are some compatibility issues with Radeon and to upgrade the BIOS.</div><div><br></div><div>So I upgraded it to v2.80. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Now it is worse. &nbsp;I can no longer boot up with the old and the new graphics card.</div><div><br></div><div>It first comes up witht he ASROCK screen with the F1, F6, etc options, but none of them work. &nbsp;The LED shows b4. &nbsp;Then the controller board shows a couple of my hard drives and the LED changes to b2.</div><div><br></div><div>I have moved the graphics card to another PCI slot and that didn't work.</div><div><br></div><div>I selected F6 to go into the instant flash. &nbsp;This came up but then you can't select F1 or F2 to reset bios. &nbsp;It basically hangs.</div><div><br></div><div>Not sure now how to move forwards. &nbsp;It won't allow me to press F11 to boot off another device so I can try running the bios setup again.</div><div><br></div><div>I ran the bios upgrade via Windows 7.</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by helifaxnz - 23 Jul 2016 at 3:38pm</span>]]>
