    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=423">wardog</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3140<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 Jul 2016 at 4:44pm<br /><br />Toshiba consumer HDDs don't req jumpers.<br><br>Noting it's an older board and has probably been upgraded some over time I would suggest you try another power rail from the PSU to power it. <br><br>I don't see that this particular Toshiba has a 4-pin molex power, only "sata' type power. Some early Toshibas had both and many users mistakenly applied power to both. Bad, real Bad.<br><br>But I would from here anyways take a close look at any adapter you may be using to power it. Things wear out over many connects and disconnects and that's what I suspect is your issue.<br><br>If you have a different and unused sata power leading from the PSU I'd suggest trying it.<br>]]>

Now it's work propely, but 2 times it's damages and I don't know when he is damaged again. Maybe this HDD is not compatible with this motherboard, because she is Sata 2 interface, but HDD is Sata 3, but on this HDD there is no jumper to set to Sata 2, for example Western Digital with jumper set from Sata 2 to Sata 1.
