Pull/disconnect the PSU from the wall outlet
2. Pull/disconnect the PSUs 24-pin power cable from the MB
3. Press the cases Power Button and hold it down for 30 seconds
4. Pull the CMOS battery, noting its orientation in its holder

5. Now lets clear the BIOS

You'll need some steady fingers and something small and conductive at its tip.

In the pic above, directly over the R in RoHS, is the CLRCMOS1 pads that you'll need to short out in able to clear, not reset, the BIOS. You only need to short the two pads for 3-4 seconds, that's all.

After shorting the pads, and nothing else hopefully , replace the CMOS battery properly in its holder, reattach the 24-pin power, plug it back into the wall, and, fingers crossed, she lights up like she should.

Whats the Make and Model of the PCIe card you have there?

.. wardog

edited to place the pic correctly

Edited by wardog - 30 Jul 2016 at 4:27pm
