I just purchased and installed my first ASRock motherboard and am really pleased with the design and performance of this product.

I do have a question about the 4 pin out for the system fan. My cases have (3) system fans with 3 pin headers only. Does that mean that I won't be able to utilize the fan speed control (i.e. Silent) on any of these? I've tried (2) so far (as well as from different companies) and finally am assuming it's not the fans issue but rather I have a motherboard that doesn't feature this control (via the 4th pin?).

Please confirm for me.

If so, besides buying a different motherboard, what are my options? Are their adapters I could implement for this cases' (3) system fans? There's only one (3) pin out on the mobo but I am not running this system for gaming and only utilizing the cpu's built in gpu for my display.

If I could control at least one of the system fans (and its speed) that would be best. I could also contact Corsair to see f they could swap me a fan for a 4 pin.
