Wow, did you ever get put off in that Windows forum! Not to mention a very generic "setting in the BIOS" response. I hope that was not from an official staff member of that forum. Either that person knows very little, or knows this is potentially not a simple thing to diagnose.

In Windows, click on the Windows icon and type in scheduled tasks. That will open the Windows Task Scheduler. You'll find you have dozens of scheduled tasks, approaching 100 of them would not surprise me.

Wading through them to find the culprit, if it even exists, will not be pleasant.

Another potential cause is a Wake On Lan (WOL) signal being received for some reason. Open Device Manager, click on the Network Adapters entry, double click on your network adapter to open its Properties. Click the Power Management tab, and uncheck the WOL entries. You may have an entry above those, about responding to a NS request without waking the system. Be sure that is checked.

Another thing to try is opening a Command Prompt window, and typing in the command, powercfg /lastwake. Also try powercfg /waketimers.

I have an ASRock H97M Pro4 running UEFI BIOS version P2.00

My computer is automatically turning itself on at 8am every morning and I don't know why. My first thought was that it may be due to windows 10 settings, so I posted on the windows forum where I was told that it is likely due to a setting in my BIOS.
