It came with BIOS v1.0. I contacted support and mailed me an updated chip for free. All I had to do was show them my itinerary.

Edited by SmegmaDong - 10 Oct 2016 at 7:36pm

However it seems that the system will not even POST without the required 3.10 update. My question is, is there any way to update the BIOS with a procedure similar to Asus' Flashback? What are my options, except purchasing a Haswell-E CPU just to update the BIOS?

Do the newer boards come with the latest BIOS?
