Author: Voltshell
Subject: 3636
Posted: 22 Oct 2016 at 3:27pm

I recently purchased a new motherboard x99 oc formula with a i7 6850k, 64gb ram, and other stuff like a new heatsink. Early this year I got 2 980ti's and a EVGA 1300watt PSU. I am using the gpus and psu in this build. HOWEVER, I HAVE A PROBLEM!!! After assembling the pc I noticed I am not getting any video at all on either of my monitors. I swap to another gpu and still no video. I noticed the debug code looked like 53 or E5 depending on where you are standing and looking at it. This says it is a RAM ISSUE in the manual.

This is the exact ram I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EII64B8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Is it possible the ram is not comatible? I did reseat the ram many times in different slots and constantly hit the CLEAR CMOS button.

I can assure you when powered on the board seems to come on fine but I get no video at all and never did. I also noticed no usb device ever got power. So I feel like the issue is between the board, cpu, or ram.

Any suggestions?
