    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2707">AMGala</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3655<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24 Oct 2016 at 10:41pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a><div>I'm unfortunately back with another issue. &nbsp;Ever since I resolved my previous issue a few months ago, my system has been working great. &nbsp;That is, until today. &nbsp;On Friday, I shut down my computer for the weekend. &nbsp;I turn it on today, and all of a sudden it was asking me to choose a boot device.</div><div><br></div><div>I have Windows installed on an M.2 Samsung 850, but it is now for some reason not showing up as an option to boot from in the UEFI. &nbsp;My other three 3.5 inch drives do show up in the list. &nbsp;You would think that would indicate failure of the M.2 drive, but it does show up in the list of drives under Storage Configuration.</div><div><br></div><div>I tried loading UEFI defaults, but the M.2 still does not show as a bootable drive.</div><div><br></div><div>I tried updating the UEFI to V7.10, but that didn't fix the issue. &nbsp;I have reverted back to V3.10.</div><div><br></div><div>Any suggestions?</div><div><br></div><div><div>Mobo: Z170 Extreme 7+, UEFI v3.10</div><div>CPU: i7 6700K, no overclocking</div><div>RAM: 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) Corsair LPX DDR4-3000</div><div>GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB</div><div>HDD: 500 GB Samsung 850 M.2 SSD, Samsung 750 GB 3.5", 2 x WD 1.5 TB 3.5"</div><div>PSU: Corsair HX850i</div><div>CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX</div></div><div>OS: Windows 10 Enterprise</div>]]>
