Author: Xaltar
Subject: 3660
Posted: 26 Oct 2016 at 3:46pm

First up, go into safe mode and use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and remove your graphics drivers. Then boot back into normal mode and download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card for windows 10.

As for the other GPU not working there could be any number of reasons. If it is a concern for you then install it again and try clearing CMOS before powering the system on. If that does not work you also have to bare in mind that older motherboards may not be compatible with newer GPUs without a BIOS update. Honestly, if your current GPU is booting then it most likely isn't a hardware issue. I would start with removing and reinstalling display drivers as I suggested above. In most upgrade situations from windows 7/8 to windows 10 there are problems, it is one of the reasons MS changed the license system so people can perform fresh installs simply using the previous version's key.
