It also weighs 900 grams without fans.<br><br>The new NH-D15 weighs 980 grams without fans.<br><br>Noctua has been selling these coolers for years, and if they were breaking mother boards, would have been out of business long ago. Epoxy impregnated fiber glass mother boards are very strong.<br>]]>

That didn't need said but I threw it out there just because.<br><br>IIRC it's like 450g or so that the manufacturers did at one time limit the "safe' weight. You'll be good there as it appears the board you have has a metal backplate attached from the factory.<br><br><br>Just be cautious when moving it that you don't accidentally drop it that last foot <img src="https://forum.asrock.com/smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" alt="Ouch" title="Ouch" /><br>]]>

Not sure if most of the weight is at the heatsink , the pipes or at the grille.
