I've seen this issue dicussed on the forum before, but haven't been able to find a solution for my specific circumstances so I'm going to try the more direct approach.

I first noticed the issue when I would restart my computer and the screen would remain black until the windows log on screen would appear. This did not use to happen and I can't remember at what point the issues started, but I now see nothing on screen before windows loads.
When I try to get into the UEFI by F2-ing on boot, it seems as though I get into the interface, but nothing shows on screen. The only indication I have that something is loaded is the the NumLock indicator on my keyboard lights up, which it usually doesn't until I reach the windows log on screen, indicating that I'm not stuck in a loop at least.
I have read some statements saying it can be due to screen resolution (I have a 3840x2160 monitor), but plugging the screen into the on-board display port doesn't seem to do anything. Only step I have left is to try with an HDMI cable, but I don't have one available and don't feel like more clutter. It worked before anyways, so I get the feeling this is not the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
