As to whether that is worth the price difference to you well that is why there are 2 models to choose from, it allows you to go with the fewer ports if you don't want to spend extra. ASRock does not control pricing more than an MSRP which largely isn't adhered to by retailers. Bare in mind all the hype that surrounded USB 3.1 at the time these boards were released. Clearly ASRock felt that the feature would prove more desirable than it ended up being. The price difference you mention is also highly dependent on retail outlets.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>For someone utilizing USB 3.1 devices extensively the added ports would be well worth the price difference when you consider the cost of a USB 3.1 add in card and the fact that it will additionally occupy one of your PCIe slots.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>I hope that answers your question. &nbsp;</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Xaltar - 29 Nov 2016 at 3:10am</span>]]>
