Just FYI for anyone looking for a base build that works.
Its not cheap (>2k) but it works for me.

MoBo - ASROCK Z170 PRO4S

CPU - Intel I7 - 6700K


RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000
(FYI, put the RAM in A1 and B1, the book says A2, B2 is Priority 1 but it wont boot like that )

GPU - eVGA GTX 1070 FTW

PSU - eVGA 850 G2

Storage - M2 NVMe SSD - Plextor 512gb - Model PX-512M8PeGN - (Boot drive with Win 10.)
Storage - Samsung V-NAND SSD 850 EVO 1 TB

DVD/CD - LG Slim USB Portable R/W

CPU cooler - Corsair H100i v2

Case - Corsair Crystal 570X
