H110M-STX have 1.41 Beta version BIOS, Support MAC OS X installation,
but H110M-STX/COM not this update

First, the H110M-STX UEFI/BIOS version 1.40 is the same as the H110M-STX/COM UEFI/BIOS version 1.30. They both have the same date, 9/2/2016, and they have the same changes:

1.Update CPU microcode.
2.Update TPM module.

The H110M-STX does not have a 1.30 UEFI/BIOS version. ASRock will not use the same UEFI/BIOS version numbers for these two boards, since they have a major difference. One has the COM port, the other does not have a COM port.

Why is that a major difference? I have the DeskMini 110W, that uses the H110M-STX board. The DeskMini 110W does not have a COM port. The first UEFI/BIOS versions for the H110M-STX board had an option to enable or disable the COM port. Since there is no COM port on this PC, that option was worthless.

The 1.50 UEFI/BIOS version for the H110M-STX does not have the option to enable or disable the COM port anymore. If you used that UEFI/BIOS version, you would not be able to use the COM port on your board anymore. You do not want to use the 1.50 UEFI/BIOS on your board.

Also, you cannot use the 1.50 UEFI/BIOS on the H110M-STX/COM board. Instant Flash, or any of the update types will detect the difference in the UEFI/BIOS files, and the update will stop.

What do you think you are missing, that the 1.50 UEFI/BIOS version has? All it does is remove the COM port option.

There will be new UEFI/BIOS updates for all of the H10M-STX boards soon. That will be to add support for the new Kaby Lake processors.
