I booted up windows and installed, but I realized one of the RAM sticks I had wasn't being recognized. I shut everything off and and placed the RAM properly. As I booted up the PC everything seemed to be running fine, but the computer was not connecting to my monitor. I read online that I would need to take out the cmos battery and RAM to reset the bios. I did that and now neither stick of RAM lights up, the monitor still will not connect, and a red light is shining on the mother board next to bios. I did not do anything with the jumpers. Would that be an issue?

cpu : intel 15 6500
