The Skylake Celerons are cheap but a new BIOS chip may be cheaper for you.</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4697">matt_297</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4201<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Jan 2017 at 3:25pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>Hi guys, good to be here, first time post, so quick rundown so I don't bore you to death.<br><br>I have (brand new),<br>AsRock Z170&nbsp; PRO4 Board<br>2x GTX 670<br>850w PSU<br>16gb Kingston Hyper X 2600 DDR4<br>Kaby Lake 7700K<br><br><br>I'm stuck in an Infinite boot loop (No post, continuous reset after about 10 seconds), and I suspect its because the bios needs updating for the Kaby lake. <br>However, the local PC guys back in Australia (im in NZ now), didn't let me know that it 'possibly' has to be done using a Skylake CPU, then install the Kaby. (Is this correct)<br><br><br>Have done all the usual things Reset CMOS, Remove refit RAM, Video cards, Checked all cables and for shorts to ground etc.<br><br>My last build using an Asrock board did this as well, but the clear CMOS button fixed this (RAM Issue).<br><br>Anyway,<br>Is there any way to force update the bios from USB stick?<br><br>Cheers,<br>Matt.<br><br><br><br>]]>
