Tried another USB stick and it worked. Seems that this board is very touchy about hardware.... that's a USB drive and PSU now that work fine elsewhere that don't work with this one.

That's without the harddisk that's packed up on me since I started the build!!!

Having got my pc built now I can't even get past the easy step of an OS install.

Trying to install Windows 10 x64 and i'm getting kicked out part way through the install.

The error is "windows cannot install required files 0x8007025d" whoch often relates to media issues but I've downloaded 3 versions now using the microsoft tool and also tested them on a VM which worked fine.

I've googled it to death and there are even references to other asrock boards being fixed with a firmware update. I assume others have successfully installed Windows 10 on this board already?
